This project explores the regeneration of a site through the lens of Actor-Network Theory, constructing a dynamic system composed of both human (residents, visitors) and non-human (bamboo, water) actors. By mapping the relationships between these elements, the design seeks to cultivate a new everyday life for the site—one that is adaptive, participatory, and ecologically responsive.
The spatial logic is guided by the concept of “transfer” between the natural and the artificial. Paths, structures, and spatial rhythms are organized to emphasize this constant negotiation—between growth and construction, flow and pause, tradition and intervention—inviting users to move fluidly between states of nature and human-making.
